The moment that the Ideal Homes management team heard about
Habitat's 2008 Home Builders Blitz, they were on board. Corporate giving and
the sharing of industry knowledge are at the core of Ideal Homes’ philosophy.
What better fit for one of the nation’s leading builders, than a partnership
with an organization, in Habitat for Humanity, that seeks to deliver the
American Dream for families in Oklahoma.
Each year Ideal Homes budgets 5% of the previous year’s
earnings to help support charitable and community organizations, making it one
of Norman and Oklahoma City’s most generous corporate citizens for its size.
In fact, corporate giving has become an epidemic throughout the organization.
Employees also work as a team to support such organizations and events as:
the Central Oklahoma and Norman Habitat for Humanity Chapters, the United Way,
the American Red Cross, the Juvenile Diabetes Foundation, the American Cancer
Society, and many more. In 2005, the company supported over 30 different
organizations.
Founded 19 years
ago, Ideal Homes has consistently set the standard for innovative homebuilding
and has been nationally recognized for the quality of its products and
processes. In fact, in 2006 Ideal Homes received the prestigious Gold National
Housing Quality Award from the National Association of Homebuilders Research
Center.
The company’s
mission is simple and straightforward: To Build Quality, Affordable Homes
Today
and Tomorrow. Now Oklahoma’s largest homebuilder, the company is locally owned
and operated and has put a roof over the heads of over 6,000 Oklahoma families. Ideal Homes is a member of the National Association of Home Builders, Central
Oklahoma Home Builders Association and the Norman Home Builders Association. The
company has developed and builds in 17 communities throughout the
Oklahoma City metropolitan area: Moore, Norman, Oklahoma City, Del City, Yukon,
Mustang, Edmond and Deer Creek. |
