Become a Homeowner

Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity builds homes in partnership with qualifying families and our community.  We then sell these homes at no profit with a zero percent interest mortgage to low-income families.  Our homes are attractive and well built, with new home prices averaging about $95,000, plus the cost of land.

Central Oklahoma Habitat homes come with high-efficiency central heating and air conditioning, excellent insulation, optional in-ground storm shelter, and plenty of closet and kitchen storage space.  New homebuyers are permitted to choose their floor plan, exterior paint colors, countertops, and floor coverings from patterns available through Central Oklahoma Habitat vendors.

We’re here for you every step of the way to make sure you’re ready to buy a home and have the support you need to keep it.

At Central Oklahoma Habitat we work in partnership with families, in the spirit of the Christian principles that guide our work, to build strong communities.  Our homeownership program offers people like postal workers, teachers, retail workers – people like you – the opportunity to live in and invest in their community.  Together we work to combat the rising issue of substandard housing with homes priced at affordable levels for sustainable, long-term homeownership.
