Habichat October 2009 Did you know?World Habitat Day - Monday, October 5Who we become and what we are able to achieve in life all begins at home. The stability and security of home ownership has profoundly positive effects on both children and adults, changing their basic concept of who they are and what they can accomplish. A child raised in a home owned by his or her parent(s) is 25 percent more likely to graduate from high school! There is truly no telling what the children of the families currently applying to Central Oklahoma Habitat can accomplish if they only have the chance. Please take a few moments this next Monday, October 5 - World Habitat Day - to consider how you can get involved with us in giving these families that chance. Please add this mission to your prayers, plan a day to come work with us on a build site, make a contribution in any amount you can afford. Each action you can take will make a real and significant difference in the lives of your fellows! Thank you for your continuing support! Habitat Renovation Station - TWO great locations!
