Thrivent Builds 2010

April 10 - May 1

Last year, Thrivent Builds with Habitat for Humanity – a one-of-a-kind alliance that united Habitat’s home-building mission with the energy and dedication of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans members and representatives – marked the fourth and final year of its formal alliance. The relationship between the two organizations, however, continues.  We are so pleased to be partnering with Thrivent and our local Lutheran friends yet again to build another house - the sixth Oklahoma City Thrivent house in five years!

In the three weeks from April 10 to May 1, central Oklahoma Lutherans and Thrivent members will join hands and hearts to build a home for Quin B. and her two children.  The affordability and stabilizing effects this home brings will open doors of opportunity for this family, jump starting Quin’s dreams of college and giving her children the brightest future possible.

See our progress, and many thanks to all our partners - returning and new - who raised funds and are building now on this project that will change lives, the benefits continuing for generations!
