Spencer
Central Oklahoma Habitat is extremely excited about completing its first
entire neighborhood in Spencer, Oklahoma! In 2003,
construction began with the first 15 homes in the 61-unit Douglas
Meadows Addition, 16 more were finished in 2004 and another
14 in 2005. The neighborhood will be completely
built out in June 2006.
Douglas
Meadows is the site of Central Oklahoma Habitat's biggest blitz
project in our history! Click on the icon below to see the
action of Habitat for Humanity's 2006 Home Builders Blitz,
building TEN homes in just FIVE days!

Spencer
has been a great place for COHFH to build!
In partnership with the City of Spencer,
we developed a park and playground in this lovely, almost rural setting,
to serve the whole Douglas Meadows neighborhood. The park was another first
for Central Oklahoma Habitat, and turned out just
beautifully!
See some of these beautiful new homes and the park below!

And, our 300th House, completed in May of 2004!!
