Bank of America teaming up with Chaparral Energy again!
Bank of America is marshalling a repeat Habitat home building performance this year, funding another home with Central Oklahoma Habitat and building it with the help of client company Chaparral Energy, just as they did this time last year! The two companies had such a great time partnering together last fall that they decided to come back for more!

Construction kicked off on Friday,
September 8, and Bank of America and Chaparral
volunteers will work each Saturday for two months
to complete their Habitat home on Saturday, November 4. Bank of America vice president Michael Embrey and Chaparral co-owner Mark Fischer are leading bank associates and oil company execs in framing, raising roof trusses, decking and sheathing, siding, sheet rocking, painting inside and out, and landscaping.
The Habitat buyer for the Bank of America House, April Norwood, has been working on her sweat equity hours for months and having a great time working with Bank of America and Chaparral on her home. Her two young daughters, Malia, 7, and Maia, 1, can feel the excitement, too! “Malia knows where her new house is going to be,” April says, “and she constantly asks me to drive by so she can see what is different.”
"Bank of America is pleased to build and fund another home under the Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity program in Oklahoma City. We are committed to improving the quality of life where we and our customers live and work," said Donita Thomas, President, Bank of America Oklahoma City. "Across the world, we have built more than 200 homes in a five-year partnership with Habitat for Humanity. We are delighted to support the efforts of the program and of the dedicated volunteers from our company who take the time to give back to their communities."
Thank you Bank of America and Chaparral Energy!!
