                                              Crossing!

On June 25, Oklahoma City-based Chesapeake Energy, third largest independent producer of natural gas in the U.S., announced a $250,000 gift to Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity for development of 60 residential lots in its new development, Hope Crossing.

Chesapeake is helping Central Oklahoma Habitat to prepare ground for 60 more quality, affordable homes in Hope Crossing II – 60 more opportunities to change lives for the better!

The stability and security these homes will bring to families will help break the cycle of poverty for children and adults, giving them a new vision of what they can accomplish in their lives.

You can help, too!!

Oklahoma Secretary of the Environment, Miles Tolbert (center) and State Representative Mike Shelton (left) applaud Chesapeake's generous community investment.  Central OK Habitat board chair Ann Felton gratefully thanks Chesapeake Senior Vice President Tom Price (right) for this wonderful gift.
