OU MEDICAL CENTER home completed in time for holidays!

OU Medical Center teams partnered with the Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity staff and the Tahira Price family in a Fall "blitz-build," completing Price's new home just in time for a Thanksgiving dedication on November 19, 2005.   More than 200 OU Medical Center employee volunteers participated during the four-week build, while others planned for a special housewarming to welcome the Price's to their new home.

"This was a great experience, and one that we hope to repeat in the future," said OU Medical Center President and CEO, Jerry Maier.  "Employees from every part of our organization came out, and pitched in.   Many expressed pride in being part of our partnership with Central Oklahoma Habitat.  We are also very grateful to the Habitat staff for their leadership and support."

OU Medical Center participated in the build as part of the HCA Foundation's national partnership with Habitat for Humanity.

Thank you and the happiest of holidays to all our OU Medical Center friends.
