Also, assisting homeowners with repairs through their Critical Home Repair program.

Diana sent in her application to COHFH and stated that she has lived in many different places but could never feel safe.

Diana says that COHFH is a great way to start with becoming a homeowner because they are with families or individuals every step of the way and make the process simple. She also believes that sharing knowledge is key to success and is grateful to the COHFH staff for helping her through the process of becoming a homeowner.

“Another opportunity I received was to volunteer for Habitat,” Diana said. “It brought me the necessary knowledge so that I can fix my home on my own, and I am so grateful to COHFH’s staff. I thank God, my son, Carlos S. and all those who have helped me in the process.”

“Never give up and never lose faith! My heart is grateful and I finally have the stability I have always wanted.”
