Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity Names Brent Tillery as New Vice President of Construction

Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity has hired Brent Tillery as its first vice president of construction, a new senior leadership role created to support the nonprofit’s growing home construction, real estate development and Critical Home Repair work.

Tillery will manage the full development process for Habitat, from land acquisition and due diligence to neighborhood planning, home construction and critical home repairs. He will also help guide projects delivered through both volunteer-led and contractor-built construction models.

Tillery is an experienced construction leader with more than 17 years of progressive experience in residential and commercial construction. His expertise includes leading teams, strengthening job-site safety practices and implementing injury and illness prevention programs.

He is OSHA 30-hour certified and has strong knowledge of federal, state and local safety regulations. He also has experience conducting safety training, site inspections and regulatory safety audits.

Tillery’s professional background includes work at Lennar (formerly Ryland Homes and CalAtlantic Homes), where he held construction leadership roles such as director of construction, area construction manager and construction manager. He also served as a construction project team lead for Best Buy Inc.

His professional honors include the Presidential Award from CalAtlantic Homes for outstanding project execution and leadership; the Best Buy Achievers Award for reducing margin erosion during a multi-site rollout; and the Brad Anderson Legacy Stock Award for ranking among the top 0.03% of companywide employees for performance.
