January Volunteer News – Critical Home Repair

It’s the start of a new year with 2025 and we hope you had many happy holidays! We would like to kick off this first Critical Home Repair program newsletter of the new year with a huge THANK YOU to all our volunteers from last year – especially those of you who plan on coming out again with us this year.

This January 2025, we will help six new families by providing them with safer, weatherized and more accessible homes. We appreciate everyone who helps us with whatever we are tackling on any given workday, whether it be replacing old windows, damaged doors or working on another repair or improvement. Together we will work to help families in the greater Oklahoma City community stay in their homes.

Please also remember that we work with people with all types of construction skills, including those who have little to none. Don’t hesitate to encourage others to join us as volunteers while we teach them how to repair homes. Together, we can accomplish more than you know.

Please note: Our office will be closed on Wednesday Jan. 1, 2025. Our winter hours are from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Thursday and Friday and from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays.
