Malarkey Volunteers Join Habitat’s Efforts at 8 a.m. TODAY to Frame 500th House Using Company Shingles

OKLAHOMA CITY — Volunteers from Malarkey Roofing Products will join Habitat to frame a new home at 8 a.m. TODAY, April 11, 2025, at 14652 Bedrock Lane in Cornerstone Creek, far northwest Oklahoma City. (Cornerstone Creek is located on the southwest corner of NW 150th Street and N. Morgan Rd.)

The newly constructed Habitat home will feature Malarkey’s renowned roofing shingles when it is completed this summer. It will mark a historic achievement as the 500th Habitat house supported by Malarkey Roofing. In addition, volunteers from the U.S. Navy will contribute their efforts during this special framing day.

This milestone event celebrates Malarkey Roofing’s strong partnership with the affordable housing nonprofit. It underscores the impact of the company’s $2 million in donated shingles and roofing expertise over the last 13 years.
COHFH Chair/CEO Ann Felton Gilliland shared her gratitude for Malarkey’s ongoing commitment.

“Since 2012, Malarkey Roofing Products has generously donated $2 million worth of shingles to support Habitat’s mission of providing affordable housing in Central Oklahoma,” Felton Gilliand said. “Their durable shingles protect homes during severe weather and save homeowners money on insurance. We are deeply thankful for Malarkey’s partnership and are thrilled to celebrate the completion of the 500th home roofed with their high-quality roofing materials.”

Dale Rushing, president of Malarkey Roofing Products, congratulated Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity on the start of its 500th home with Malarkey shingles.

“Only two years ago, we celebrated the 400th home, and clearly, local families are still in great need of home ownership,” Rushing said. “We are proud to participate with an organization that puts advocacy into action.”
