Homeowner #1042 – Susan is retired and has 10 beautiful grandchildren.  She is excited to have her home where they can visit and learn new skills in her kitchen.  In the process of building her own house and helping on others she learned how to hang a door, install doorknobs and paint walls.  Also, while helping Critical Home Repair, she learned how to lay tile.  She feels all of these new skills will come in handy in maintaining her new home.  What does Susan have to say about Habitat for Humanity?  “What a great organization.  Helping others get into a new home!”  She says she met many nice people and plans to volunteer “as long as my body will let me”.
