Homeowner #1053 – Marisa is the mother of three children.  When she first learned about the Habitat program she knew it would be a great opportunity.  She shared “I had to work really hard to get to where I am now and couldn’t be more thankful to Habitat or giving me and my family an opportunity to have a place of our own to call home.  Through volunteer work I was definitely taken out of my comfort zone, but I wouldn’t trade it for anything.  I have learned about the dedication and hard work that is put into these homes by Habitat.  It made me proud to overcome adversities and to be able to give back to the community.  We truly are grateful and excited for this blessing!  We are ready to make many memories and to grow in our new home.”
