Homeowner #1058 – Minerva left Matamoros, Mexico, where she was born, in 2007 to escape an abusive relationship.  She had no support group to ease her into her new life and it was difficult.  In 2008 she met Eduardo.  They married and had a son in 2009.  In 2019 they had triplets, but lost one at 3 months.  In 2021 she lost Eduardo within a couple of days.  She feels that, with her new home, Habitat has given her hope for the future.
