Homeowner #1071- Luis O. and Rosaura S. are the proud parents of three young children. The couple has worked hard for years to try and purchase a home of their own, but the Covid-19 pandemic and the challenging homebuyers’ market made that dream seem out of reach. Determined to give their children more space where they can ” … run, have their own rooms, grow and feel safe and secure,” they applied for and were accepted into Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity’s (COHFH) New Home Construction program.

After completing COHFH’s program requirements, they closed on their new home right before Thanksgiving 2022.

“We want our children to be able to form lasting friendships where we live so they can each fulfill their own potential,” Luis said. “The most important thing to us is to see our children happy.”
