Homeowner #1086 – Monique P., a mother of three “handsome” sons, has worked for the state of Oklahoma as a driver’s license examiner for more than three years. She and her sons celebrated the home dedication of her new house with Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity and members of the McLaughlin Family Foundation on Oct. 5, 2023, in northeast Oklahoma City.

Her new home is the third home build sponsored by the McLaughlin Family Foundation.

Monique P. said she’s worked very hard to provide for her children, Bronson, Noah and Asa.

“Getting this opportunity through Habitat is life changing for my family and it will continue to change the trajectory of my future generations,” she said. “We will finally have the stability that I have always wanted to provide for my sons. I can only imagine that with this stability will come a sense of community and a place to belong.”
