Mother of Three Sons Builds Toward Generational Wealth Through Homeownership

Taneiqua H. and her three sons celebrated the dedication of their new Habitat home during a dual ceremony with new neighbor Cade S. on Nov. 20, 2025, at Cornerstone Creek.

An account manager at iThrive, Taneiqua is raising Quinton, 19; Cameron, 15; and Preston, 10. The Northwest Classen High School alumna explained in her New Home Construction program application that her growing family simply needed more room.

“This home will provide more space and will give my family a place they know they can come back to when they get older,” Taneiqua stated.

For the single mother, homeownership also represents a long-term investment in her family’s future.

“I believe becoming a homeowner will help with my goal of creating generational wealth,” she stated.

Taneiqua’s new home provides her sons with room to grow today and a lasting place they can return to as adults.
