COPA is a group of “Tropically minded and latitudinal challenged” people. They have been called “angels in tropical shirts” by those who have benefited from their charitable giving, including COHFH.
Their motto is “party with a purpose!” and COPA’s purpose is to serve local and global communities as a service based organization.
COPA, and their fun loving crew, serves the greater Oklahoma City metropolitan area. People who enjoy the writings and music of Jimmy Buffett, other “Trop Rock” artists, and the tropical and laid back lifestyle come together to raise funds for various organizations, including COHFH.
COPA pitched in to help residents of central Oklahoma following the May 2013 tornadoes with funding for relief and new home construction. Visit their website (http://www.copa-nut.com/index.html) for information about their next tropical fundraising event.
