“The Vance Rising 4 is private organization that represents the bottom four ranks of the enlisted structure at Vance AFB. We try to organize a quarterly volunteer opportunity for our Airmen, in which our efforts are focused to giving back to the surrounding communities who support us day in and day out.

This will be many of our members first time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity. Often times with projects we do, the instant gratification piece is missing because our work is not visually accessible as our efforts are often tied into a ‘bigger picture’ idea. I feel like this will be a great opportunity for the younger Airmen to see their hard work coming together and to first hand witness how their efforts can positively affect the live(s) of another person.” – SrA Anglin
