St. Paul’s Newman Center Volunteers Spread Blessings at Habitat
The St. Paul’s Newman Center recently returned with student volunteers from the University of Wyoming’s (UW) Catholic Center to help build houses for Central Oklahoma Habitat for Humanity (COHFH). This is the 31st year that the volunteer group has traveled from Laramie, Wyoming, on their annual trek to Oklahoma City. Led by Father Rob Spaudling, who first volunteered for the mission of service while a UW student in 1997, seven UW student volunteers and several staff members from the center dedicated their time and energy to helping Habitat build homes for limited- to moderate-income new homeowners.

On May 23, 2025, Ed Lynn, owner of Buffalo Wild Wings on Northwest Expressway in Oklahoma City, brought the hungry young volunteers some much-needed sustenance. Habitat is grateful for the generous donations of meals by Buffalo Wild Wings, Charleston’s, Upper Crust Wood Fired Pizza, and Johnnie’s Charcoal Broiler, as well as their generous gifts in support of these hard-working young people.
